SAFELINE, based in Dortmund, Germany, joins our Group as part of the DEXIS brand.

Founded 40 years ago, SAFELINE specializes in personal protective equipment and currently has 85 employees.

This acquisition, which follows the purchase a year ago of NÖLLE & NORDHORN, based in Gütersloh in the northwest of Germany, confirms DEXIS’ ambition to develop in this economically buoyant and strategic area.

Today, DEXIS has 4 subsidiaries in Germany with a total of 500 employees.

HYDRALIANS, the brand dedicated to the water and landscape trades, is setting up in Portugal with the company CUDELL

HYDRALIANS has just taken a new step in its commercial development by acquiring the company CUDELL, a player in the water sector established in Portugal. This is a first significant step in the Europeanization of the brand.

CUDELL, a historic company recognised in its market
Founded in 1954, CUDELL addresses all the players in the landscape sector, through a range of products covering the fields of swimming pools, watering, water treatment, agricultural irrigation and pumping. It has 35 employees, spread over 6 sales outlets and a logistics warehouse. The company has an excellent reputation and an expert image. It also has its own training centre to develop the skills of its employees and customers.

An acquisition in line with HYDRALIANS’ strategy to strengthen its geographical footprint

HYDRALIANS was created in 2009 with the acquisition of SOMAIR-GERVAT, a swimming pool specialist, and PROSJET and IRRIGARONNE, experts in agricultural irrigation. The company has expanded continuously since its creation, so much so that it has doubled the number of its sales outlets over the last ten years, thanks to the opening of new sales outlets, but also through the integration of new companies with complementary activities. In 2020, HYDRALIANS integrated CGFP, Comptoir Général des Fontes et Plastiques, a Parisian player specialising in rainwater pipes.

The brand is structured according to areas of activity:

The acquisition of CUDELL is therefore part of this context of strong growth for the brand in the water management market, which remains buoyant and innovative throughout Europe. For HYDRALIANS, this first step outside France represents an opportunity to deploy all possible synergies of expertise with a view to playing a leading role at European level.

DEXIS strengthens its presence in Germany with the acquisition of NÖLLE & NORDHORN

Pursuing its strategy to build a European leadership in the field of industrial supplies, the DESCOURS & CABAUD Group has just acquired the German company NÖLLE & NORDHORN.

A key player in the German industry With a turnover of 36 million Euros and 110 employees, NÖLLE & NORDHORN, located in Gütersloh, North Rhine-Westphalia, has been assisting professionals in the maintenance and upkeep of their production facilities for over 60 years. The company has always had an excellent reputation and, in addition to its product range (hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial engineering), has always offered high value-added solutions for the technical performance of its customers, including pneumatic measurement services, the manufacture of customised tools and the processing and assembly of hydraulic tubes. This sense of service, combined with its demand for quality service, was a determining factor for DESCOURS & CABAUD in the acquisition of this company.

A stronger presence in Germany and a strong potential for commercial synergies DEXIS has been present in Germany since the acquisition in 2015 of RALA DEXIS, which has two sales outlets in Ludwigshafen (Rhineland-Palatinate) and Heilbronn (Baden-Württemberg) with a total of 300 employees and operates throughout the country. The addition of NÖLLE & NORDHORN to DEXIS will strengthen the company’s presence in this market where the industrial sector remains dynamic, create commercial synergies between the two entities and finally consolidate the offer by proposing new service complementarities to industry professionals.
